Beautiful museum for a small town. Employees in the museum loves to engage in conversation. The museum is free, but they have this box for monetary donation. I would definitely drop something there before exiting. The museum is full of history! It's AMAZING!!!!! This was a score!

What a great find this place was. The volunteer we encountered was superb, she was a wealth of information and the displays are fantastic. My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We brought family from Norway to see the Kurt Cobain part of the museum, but the exhibit was 98% removed (apparently the owner withdrew his items) from this area of the museum. The overall museum was quite nice, low traffic in the area, and there is some neat stuff in the museum.

Great for Nirvana fans. Several items on display related to Kurt Cobain. We enjoyed the other displays within the museum as well. Admission was free, although you can make a donation if you wish. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

Great place to check out the history of Aberdeen. The displays are interesting and worth a visit. There is a wonderful stained glass window I loved and I like that the place is housed in an old national guard armory building.

Pleasantly surprised by the bits of information I learned about the area that I have lived in for over 25 years. A great stop for anyone passing through that is interested in learning more about Aberdeen and it's neighboring areas.

Called in on way through Aberdeen - seemed logical given that we are from Aberdeen in Scotland. The museum is very interesting full of nuggets of information, about both Aberdeen and living in the area through the decades. Very friendly curator too.

Just a few pieces are at this place, if you are in the area it is free, so you might as well go see it.

We have been to many small museums, and this is one of the better ones. It is located in the armory building near downtown Aberdeen. We couldn't find a designated parking lot, so we parked on the street across from the armory. This was not a problem for us, despite the sign that said one hour parking. We were inside... More

This museum is in the old Armory, it's a really cool setting, the volunteer staff are sincere and educated people who will answer any questions you might have. The museum has a lot of local history, and a miniature of a logging camp as well as many other items of interest.
