This zoo is located next to the Brazil military base. The military runs the zoo. It's a nice zoo. All the animals are native to Brazil. If you're Manaus and need some time to kill, try the zoo.

Lots of monkeys, macaus and exotic cats. Aquarium is small but the bug and butterfly area is decent. Signage is good not great. Musa amazonia is much better. This should be your third choice for a zoo (after impa).

Was a great relaxing stop... Enjoyed the animals... Not a full day event... Not the San Diego Zoo... but much more enjoyable than expected... Not a large park.

Only come here if you have extra time and nothing to do. Entrance costs R$5,00. You see some animals but its not that great. This could one day be an epic place but until then, avoid it.

It is really nice to see the different animals of the amazonas. Not the cleanest zoo... You pay only 5 reals for the visit.

Admission is 5real, very cheap. It's a small zoo and nice to see the animals they have around here. In the jungle it's hard to see any of them. Some info in English, but not all. Also nice to get away from the crowds in...More
