One of the best areas of the city: great ocean view, great places to eat, drink and have fun. And the beach is gorgeous. Just go behind the "Farol da Barra" and appreciate the sunset and the Itaparica island view. It is priceless.

This is definitely one of the better things to do in Salvador. You can tour the entire lighthouse and climb all the way to the top. Entrance is R$15 per person. It gives you a history of the Portugese coming to Brazil. There is a...More
