What a beautiful Cathedral. Mind blowing, and all the detail in it. Definitely worth visiting. Loved it.

The inside of that church is about the best baroque art I have ever seen. The only thing to say about it is Wow! Well worth a visit.

We had a private tour guide and truly loved the place. I got plenty of pictures...just remember to turn off your flash.

Lovely Church - one of several in Salvador that you should include on a must-see list - even if you only have a day.

The cathedral has been closed for renovation and will be closed for quite some time. There are other churches to see, especially the Franciscan church in the far opposite end of the square.

We were very disappointed because, as tourists, we do not think if Monday a historic church could be closed, but it was so. Around the church were in dozens of people who have not potutto admire this wonder of the historical heritage of Bahia

This church incorporates the distinctive characteristics of Brazilian colonial architecture of churches, very baroque features covered in gold leaf. A bit overly rich for my taste but the azuelos are beautiful.
