The palace is beautiful but that is all. You can visit the entrance hall of the building. It is always opened in business times.

This is an empty building with lots of history. The walls are covered with events in early Brazil history. There is a small gift shop and tours are provided if asked for. Great place to relax if your walking around and need a break.

This building was at one time the residence of the Governor of Brazil, and it keeps this sense of magnificent in a square that is the entrance of the old city. Great views of the low city as well

A wonderfully restored building..., no, not a building, A PALACE! Beautiful views of the bay..., go there and transport yourself in time..., close your eyes and imagine you are at a New Years party in.., say, 1899!
