Two stories of fun exhibits for kids of all ages! Well worth the price of admission. They will stamp your hands for re-entry later the same day, and they allow adults to bring in coffee in covered containers. My daughter loved the water room, but the raincoat provided did very little and she still left absolutely soaked, drawing our visit... More

Wonderful little gem in the heart of downtown Appleton. A lot of activities for young kids and a great place to interact with your child/grandchild.

This museum is fully hands-on and fun for little kids. Water room, art projects, special exhibits, walk in jet planes, bakeries, restaurants, etc. Cute gift shop. Parking is on the street and not always easy.

It's a great place to let the kids be free to explore. The tree house is always a hit as are the dropping balls. There is an art room where kids can do many different crafts. Kids love playing in the gas station store. There is a shop that has many educational toys to purchase. Well worth the cost of... More

I have taken my kid here a few times. It is a great was to learn and have fun at the same time. If you have multiple kids I recommend have multiple adults so the kids can split up and explore.

Very Clean. Always Fun for my little one (especially on a rainy or snowy day). Lots of fun rooms and areas to play for a variety of ages. The staff is very helpful and kind. (Just expect to get wet if you enter the water room! Lesson Learned) Have great activities throughout the year. We ask for a membership from... More

Took my Pre K class with parents here for a morning of fun. The kids had a blast, the parents got to play like kids and the class we had about the 5 senses was wonderful hands on learning. I will be taking my future Pre K classes back!

We love the Building for Kids - so much that we bought a membership. A great way to spend time with our grandkids. The exhibits are very well maintained and age appropriate. So many different things for them to do, you can easily spend hours there!

Our two granddaughters were visiting from out of state and this was a great place to take them. They are 10 and 8 years old and they had so much fun participating in the various activities ( making ice cream, arts and crafts, etc.). There is enough there to see and do that we were there for over 3 hours.

While visiting grandson, we went to the Building for Kids Children's Museum. Hands on exhibits, mostly donated from local manufacturers, were great. We could hardly get the boy to move from one exhibit to the next. We had to "bribe" him to get him to leave. The sponsors, Gulfstream, Pierce Fire Engines, Boldt Construction, Thrivent Financial and others, deserve praise... More
