If not for the exposition, visit it for the architecture.

The access to the museum is really easy, and ramps help even phisically challenged people to move around. public bathrooms are clean and neat, and air conditioning is never too cold in there. Not to mention that despite the great exhibitions, the museum is an art work itself!

It's free and most likely on your way already... but if not, simply don't bother. The building has a very nice, modern design from the outside, but really nothing to expect in it.. There is a very nice tarasse on the side of the building... but it's obviously closed and not available for tourists. Such a waste. The exhibition was... More

They have utilized technology to create art. The human interaction was great. A must visit for every age group.

At the time I was in visiting Brasilia, the Museum was exposing a Photographic exposition. It was very interesting, but I recommend overall this place as a architectural visit. The insides are as interesting as the outside look of a planet or spaceship. Indeed entering it fills the experience of exploring Oscar's Niemeyer Architecture. Just outside it it's also a... More

We came here and there were 3 exhibits at the same time. We like all the three: Marianne Peretti, the Jean-François Rauzier picture creations and Acqua. I hope they keep organizing high quality art exhibits such as this one in the future. The place lacks a café where you could come, sit and enjoy the building a little more.

If you went to the National Congress, certainly you go to the National Museum because it's very near. There are many kinds of art.

I really like the architecture of the building but I didn't find a lot of interesting arts inside. If you have much time to spend in Brasilia then this museum is good to visit but if your time is limited then I would surely recommend you to skip it.

Located on Eixo Monumental, this concrete building is half a sphere stucked to the ground, surrounded by a circular ramp. Seen from the outside, the set recalls Saturn and its rings. As to the inside, if you've got time, have a go.

This museum, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, is located close to the National Cathedral, so a visit to both is easy to do in one day, especially because the museum is not that big and it also serves as a library.

It's open later (til 6:30) than most of the other sites so a visit would be easy to add to your day. The exterior is interesting but the interior soars! There were three exhibits at the time of my visit: photography from the 1950s (good selection, well presented), contemporary photography (not my taste), and Soviet posters from WWII (with the...
