Luxury from top to bottom. Watch the stairs as there isn't a handrail. Lots of modern art works make the tour enjoyable.

Though tours are not available to see the interior of this important building along the monumental axis, it is well worth the visit just to see the facade composed of elegantly-placed water features falling into a beautifully landscaped reflecting pool. Lovely architecture and a nice balance to the gorgeous Palacio Itamaraty across the axis.

Not all Niemeyer buildings are created equal, as you learn when touring Brasilia. This one though, one of the original foundation buildings he designed during the first phase of construction, is worthy of a tour or walk around. Love the suspended concrete waterfalls and the unique concrete arches and form work.

As part of your tour of the Esplanade of the Ministries you naturally pass in front of the Palace of Justice which looks out over the Congress. It is a good example of modern architecture built in the 1960s. If is is open to viewing it is worth a visit inside.

This wonderful design from Oscar Niemeyer is probably one of his best. The waterfalls coming out of the building feeding the ponds surrounding the building, are really amazing to see. It is close to the Conference Centre, so you can't and shouldn't miss it.

Interesting building from the outside only - there were no tours of the inside. The front of the building has around seven waterfalls that fall into a lake.

Although I was unable to tour inside the building, this wonderful structure has the most amazing fountains and aquatic gardens surrounding it. Close all the government buildings and museums and cathedral. Well worth the visit.

While looking at other, better known federal buildings by famous architect Oscar Niemeyer, we decided to take a quick look at the Palace of Justice (Ministério da Justiça). We had read that the fountains outside had been turned off because the water fountains were breeding grounds for mosquitoes. In fact, the water was flowing off of the building (see picture) in a truly unusual way. We were able to peak into the lobby but did not try to see the inside. The external architecture is well worth a few minutes of attention.

The water features flowing from this building make it beautiful to behold. Restores one's faith that justice can flow like water, even in Brazil!

This is the office of the Justice Minister and his staff. Impressive spouts of water streaming down the front of the building (designed by the ubiquitous Niemeyer), which could do with a steam-clean someday. Nothing of special interest for visitors inside. Take your photo and move on.
