They did a wonderful job of creating this information center. Be warned that it closes at 5:00 and to really enjoy it all (including the paths) plan at least an hour. It has a great history center, gift shop, art by locals and beautiful murals...More

This was a fascinating info center. The exhibits were awesome. Setting gorgeous. We had an overview of the entire North Lakes - from the Ojibwa to the Fur Trade. Don't miss the 10 minute movie. Beautiful.

This is a large, newer visitor center, with museum-type exhibits about the area, a small gift shop, and walking trails. I enjoyed the exhibits about the region, and also the woven displays about female native Americans. It was very interesting.
