A beautiful museum in Rio. Maybe not the first few days but if you stay longer in Rio, do go visit. You will not regret.

Great place, great architectural design (Oscar Niemayer), great view (Guanabara bay)!!!! The collection is not so fantastic, depending on the temporary ones... Have to check it before. The way is a bit far from Rio de Janeiro turist area, but the way is very nice, going by boat (place of departure: Praça XV in Rio downtown - be careful with... More

Every time I am in Niteroi I have to walk around the Museum at night, and appreciate the lights and all that good energy that comes from that place. Besides, there is always good exhibitions going on and if you want to stay longer, you can also have a great lunch on the restaurant which is underground. A bit expensive,... More
