Casa Rosa is the destination for young middle-to-upper-class Cariocas on a Sunday evening. The entry covers the Roda de Samba and your food. They serve Feijoada, a bean and beef stew with rice, which really is super delicious. There's also the option to pay the entry without the food. The Samba is great, but no better than any other in... We arrived at around 9 for the Samba and Feijoada. We didn't have enough cash, so went to an atm. They said that the Feijoada would be available until 9:30. When we got back at 9:15 they told us that the food was finished despite having just been told otherwise. We still decided to go in to experience the samba... More

Went here on a Sunday night after Brazil won the confederation cup. The place was packed with people and this converted brothel was filled with energy. The band was absolutely the best samba I have ever heard, especially the female singer. It attracts a young, hot looking crowd but even us older 40-50 year olds managed to fit in. Highly... More

Got here at 6pm on a Sunday and paid R25 for cover and R10 for a plate of the local fd. Quite decent actually. Had my dinner before the band started playing samba music at abt 7pm. Not many danced for this first set as it was probably early but by the 2nd set at abt 820pm it got crowded... More

Saw great samba parties at Casa Rosa. It’s a Beautiful venue. Only go here on Sunday afternoon. Get there early! But big line on Sundays at 7pm. I had a great time. Though I went there alone but made friends with Brazilians. He was cool. We danced all night together. I want to thank you tripadvisor. Because I found Casa... More

This is for the young ones. People on their twenties crowd the place which used to be a brothel if I'm not wrong. But don't worry. Nowadays everything is changed. There's two dance floors, not too big to be honest. On the main one, in genera, there's a Brazilian band, sometimes samba, sometimes rock, sometimes Marchinha de carnaval..it changes....on the... If you want to live the real brasilian spirit, go to Casa Rosa! Sundays they have a very delicious feijoada from 7 pm until 9.20 pm. Then you can enjoy music in live like samba, bossanova or samba rock. You have another room where you can dance funky. Very cheap. Enjoy Brasil in Casa Rosa! I have a really cuul... More

Casa Rosa is a wonderful place to dance samba and other kinds of brazilian's rhythm. Me and my friends met lots of other people there. All of them young and cool!! We also tried their feijoada (a famous brazilian plate) and we all liked it very much!
