This hidden beach is my absolute favorite beach in Rio, make sure to check the tides before you go! The access is easiest by car, entrance to the beach is via a condominium just next to the Costa Brava club.

The best beach I visited when I was in Rio! It's so quiet and calm! It's a bit tricky to get there, but you can walk or take a taxi/Uber! The beach were very clean and had some good waves for surfing or bodyboarding!

It could be the most amazing beach experience ever, but you may check the wind position before you go - be sure the Jacarepagua's lagoon water is flowing to the opposite side. And also is good to have in mind that the sand line is...More

This is a great spot to experience a different beach vibe in Rio! It was pretty crowded when we were there (high tide means less sand for beachgoers) but the water was amazing. There was also a stand to rent umbrellas and buy drinks. We...More

You may not see any beach during high tide like it happened for us. Still, we had great time siting on the rocks and watching the power of ocean. The waves were splashing very very high when they hit the rocks. So, must be great...More
