I loved this market so much! I visited on a drizzly Sunday morning and it was fantastic. So much to choose from: art, jewelry, food, clothing, handmade wallets/purses, glass, knick knacks, soap, and so on. Beautiful stuff! I spent some money there because I love...More

Great little market in the plaza near General Osario with an assortment of unique offerings. Well worth a visit, although they could do with some more food options.

We were stuck with something to do on our last day in Rio, so decided to visit this market. It only happens on a Sunday. There are all kinds of stalls, some selling the same stuff you will find anywhere else in Rio, albeit decidedly...More

I bought my girlfriend a nice bracelet here, made by a couple that owns their own small business. You don't need to spend a lot of time here, but it's fun to look around.

Apart from touristy souvenirs, you can buy some original jewellery and art here. It says it is open until 8, but when I visited most of people were closing around 5.

The market seems to run only on Sundays at the square right next to a main metro station. The market itself wasn't particularly significant from any other. Lots of jewellery and craft stalls and even more tourists. If you happen to be stuck for something...More

A lot of tents with handmade jewelry and accessories, leather bags, paintings and good food! Don't miss the tradicional Acarajé from the "Tenda das Baianas", a very tradicional dish from the northeast of Brazil. Watch out for the pepper! :)

My wife and I have been visiting the Ipanema Feira Hippie since the 1970s. In the old days you could pick up some really nice works of art from unknown artists for reasonable prices at this open air street fair. In recent times, much of...More

best view of the sunset from Arpoador and is
inspiration for the legendary song, “The Girl from

high-end restaurants and luxury shops, many of which
can be found on the charming Garcia d'Ávila Avenue.
The neighbourhood is very rich culturally, housing
many art galleries that show contemporary art. There
