The Plataforma Samba Show represents the rhythmic and colorful dances of Brazilian folklore, often featuring the prior year's Carnival winning Samba school dancers. There is the option to have dinner before the show, but the real attraction is the Samba dance performances.

Plataforma was sold to us as an authentic Brazilian samba experience. However, we were quite disappointed and not what we were expecting. For the price of over $110USD per person we were expecting to see a lot flamboyant dancing but were treated to quite a...More

The theatre is ancient! The music transmission system is very low quality. The costumes and samba dancing is OK but the rest of the show is below par. The show lasts for 90 mins and costs 250 Reals. The seats are uncomfortable. The whole thing...More

The show starts 2200, which is too late. The dancers was okay, but I don't know, I was so sleepy watching the show. Not too many interaction with the audience. And the stage is not the big one. I think the venue must be renewed.

We booked the show without the dinner and it was just 90 minutes long. For a city like Rio, this venue is below average. I had to clean, wipe the wooden table top that we were seated because it was sticky with gunky residue and...More

Colorful, moderately interesting show fitting for a visit to Brazil. It is NOT Radio City Music Hall but provides some local color.

Not able to be in Rio for Carnaval? No problem, take in the Plataforma Samba Show. It features some of the costumes used in previous Carnaval parades. There is also some singing and dancing along with some acrobats who simulate Brazilian fighting. The show traces...More

In addition to being one of the most upscale
neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming,
elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the
most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along
with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some
places open all night). One of the best places to
visit is the beach, located under the impressive
“Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a
