Big gay club; you won't feel unloved here as a straight couple. Tips for gringos: they accept a photocopy of your passport or driving license to get in (we paid 40 and 50 Reals; it's a bit more for women for a change!). You get a charge card to can pay at all the bars with, then you settle the... More

Huge nightclub, great music and cool party nights. Most staff are helpful and speak some English. BUT drink prices are expensive and the queue system is crazy. You queue up to get in & get a drinks card, then you queue up to pay at the end of the night. All up we spent 2.5hours waiting in lines. The system... More

Never seen so many people in a club. Definitely one of the best clubs over the world. Best music & the security is remarkable. The most beautiful people by far. You really should go if you're in town.

Just Wow! The venue is amazing so is the music with famous djs. I went on a Saturday night (i heared it only opens on saturday?) I went there with a taxi which left me right outside. They give you a card, with which you buy drinks inside, and you pay when you leave whatever is charged on this card.... More

Que'd outside for hours, the VIP que didn't seem to be moving at all so jumped to the normal que! Then took longer to get in! Approx one hour! No one spoken English The venue was clean, music was good, the visual effects outstanding! Just very busy, felt I had to keep one hand in my pocket to secure my... More

This club is one of a few in Brazil and really is a mega club in terms of size and atmosphere. Coming from NYC and having been to most major club scenes across the globe this is up near the top. NYC has lost its touch, yet Rio picks it up. Definitely worth the 3 day weekend down just for... More

The Week is a huge and stylish club , which contains 2 dance floors and an outdoors chilling place . It is without any doubt ( together with The Week São Paulo) the best club of Brazil . The venue is huge, but very well organised . Electronic dance music on the main floor, diverse styles ( as well Brazilian... More

Second best gay club I've ever been to, after Theatron in Bogota. It's huge, three levels. Register on Facebook before going and get in faster. Definitely a must.

The week is an an area of Rio where there are many other clubs. It was a fantastic find. The entrance was easy and no list required. Drinks were reasonable, but the highlights were the two floors, different music in each, the outdoor garden area and the amazing people. Had a fun time dancing! Don't go until at least 1:30am.... I have been to many amazing clubs, but The Week is leaps and bounds above the rest. If you are blessed to make it to Rio, you have to make it to this place on a Saturday. The men are beautiful and very friendly. It did take a long time to get in, but get you name on the facebook... More
