This place is pure Rio spirit. Professionals, semi professional and local musicians and singers get together in the tiniest of bars for Bossa Nova and other latin rhythms. Get drinks from the back of the bar and pay at the end on a tab run...More

You sit outside on the sidewalk, and serve your own drinks out of the fridges. Bio Bip just celebrated 50 years of activity. It is just a half block off the main drag on Copacabana.

On the night we visited, there was only beer (on the alcohol front) on a self serve basis, and I guess this is the norm. The owner sits out front and monitors and takes payment while a bunch of musicians play lovely samba music. Seating...More

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional
and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood

traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of
everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs,
chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and
more live side-by-side. There are options for all
price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
