I went here a bit too late in the evening but wanted to continue to the waterfall anyway. It's an easy trail to follow and takes maybe 30 minutes to get there. By the time I arrived it was very dark so the waterfall looked very atmospheric! On the way back down it was night time and fireflies started to come out which made the walk back lovely and the trees looked epic! I would like to go back during the daytime!! The trail is really near to the botanical gardens and parque lage so it's not too far out of the way to visit.

It's kind of amazing that you can hike in a forest and relax under the water of a waterfall in a city known for its beaches.
You can reach this one through different trails, it's a good option to have a guide or someone that knows the region.
It's a great and refreshing contact with nature, and you can relax on the rocks.
Unfortunately, a little crowded on weekends and holidays.
