A place where you can observe the sea and the river at the same time and enjoy beautiful places to go. They have a farm in there where you can also stay when you feel to be far from this crazy world.

This place is a mix where you can find the dunes, the river and the ocean at the same place, and you still have a good restaurant with many funny out door activities, just depends on you intend to pay.

Altough the place is very beautiful, it's not one of the best Natal places. There is only one restaurant and it's very expensive. The quad trip is a good option, however it's also quite expensive. It's more like a river so you don't see a lot of people swimming on it.

We went there just to see and take some pictures so I cannot help with any price or activity they provide there. I know it's paid to enter because it's like a farm so if you want to go inside just to take picture it's good to negotiate in the entrance.

If you go to Natal and didn't travel around in the Rio Grande do Norte stare you lost half your trip. Barra do Punaú is a wonderful gem that should be in the obligatory list of any tourist.

Really nice place. The river has shallow water. Really nice to bathe in. There are many things to do there such as kayaking, sand boarding, and driving quad bikes. The restaurant over there is really nice too. It's actually pretty cheap. You have access to the beach also. I enjoyed it very much.

Barra de Punaú is a very peaceful place at Northeast of Brazil. It is located 65 Km from Natal, the capital city of Rio Grande do Norte State. In Barra de Punaú, you can swimm and practice kaiak in the Punaú River, besides enjoy a long (but desert) beach. In the location, dune buggies are available for rental too.
