Twelve minutes boat ride to get to the reef

A boat ride to the near by reef is worth the effort if you are out for some snorkelling or diving. The beaches in the area are nice.

Departure time is 7 a.m. Once the boats are gone you have nothing to do except kite surfing until next day. The neighborhood it's extremely poor and the beach is dangerous. So , if you don't look for snorkeling, it's better to come back to Genipabu.

It is a good snorkel trip. I have done other snorkel trips, and confess that this was not my favourite, but still, it is a great passeio if you have never done anything like that. Because people tend to walk on the sand instead of just floating, the water can get sandy and lower the visibility. I had to swim... More

The warm waters of Natal are an invitation for scuba diving. "Parrachos de maracaju" is great for shallow water diving activities, and there is no need for wearing your full gear. Just have your mask, snorkel, and fins on. That's all you need to enjoy the place. But the best thing to do is to pay a local company to... More

Going to the parranchos is a very different experience and you can dive and observe the life under the sea.

My husband and I did a snorkel trip here. The reef was beautiful and we saw amazing fish. After snorkeling we were able to do an ATV trip that took us to the restaurant for lunch. Really a great day, one of the best vacations we've had!

From the pictures and brochures it looks like the snorkel might be nice, but with strong winds and less than 50% visibility, we would have been better off staying in town and going to the aquarium. In the end, we paid 300 reais for a visit to a nice beach, with a restaurant and tour operators selling their quad rides,... More

The catamara was full there was no place to everyone, the water was full of people it was impossible to see the fish. They should put a limited number of people in the water so everyone could enjoy it.
