As a frequenter of Brazil, this is my second time at Black Lake. It is nice to take the pedalo swan-boat on the lake for a slow relaxing ride and view the surrounding calmness and beauty. Here you can walk on the paths and enjoy the gardens, flora, and other things nature has to offer. Lots of couples come here for a romantic vacation.

The lake is average and looks like just a regular park, better in the summer when the flowers bloom. This is a good place to picnic if you’ve already seen other sites in Gramado and want a less busy day

I've been many times to Gramado Black Lake (Lago Negro) and it's a perfect location to spend a couple of hours alone or with friends. It's possible to rent the "Swan Boat" to go around the lake. Of course it's best to go there when the sun is shining. There are some shops next to the entrance that offer great handicraft options.

It’ very charming, calm and clean. One can take a taxi or rent a bike to get there. The signposts will show you the way so you will not be easily lost. There is no entrance fee but You can rent a paddle for 20 minutes for R$20 and take some wonderful photos when you are on the lake. There is also a very beautiful walking road around the lake with nice landscapes. It’s Totally recommended.

Urban park in a nice neighborhood, with no costs on its entrance. There is a path around the lake with exuberant nature. Romantic scenery place that is a must go in Gramado. 1 hour visit is enough.

Good to chill out in a sunny day, but the lack of services as good meal options, bathroom facilities and a great parking area are important drawbacks.

Spending an afternoon or morning at the Black Lake is really nice, especially for those who have children.
There you can ride the paddle boats, take a walk on the track, ride bikes. you can take a stroll around the park without any effort. There is a wonderful peace!

If you want to go to Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, an excellent touristic point is the Black Lake. There, you will find a secure "pedalinho" to walk by the lake. Arount it, there is an amazing place to go jogging and to cycle with lots of trees by the path to make it more bucolic. Near the lake, you will find a big chocolate store. When I say that is just chocolate, it is really just chocolate. I entered there asking for water and they brought me "hot chocolate" The store has lots of kinds of chocolate just made in Gramado, therefore it is not cheap. Around the Lake, there are some nice hotels like the Pousada Lago Negro, where I passed 1 week. A little build with cheap prices where the is all you need for a 4 people family. 300 meters from the Lake, you will find the house of Santa Claus, very beautiful indeed. A really unforgetable experience. Hope I've helped!

The last time we have been at Lago Negro was almost 20 years ago and it is great to see that it remains well maintained, beautifully landscaped and peaceful despite being such a popular destination. Granted we were there on a Tuesday so I would suggest caution if you are visiting on a holiday or weekend, as the place is not too big and I would assume can get crowded.

Beautiful nature. Nice to walk around. Buy souvenirs and shirts. Water bike rides. An electric car for people with walking difficulties.
