If you visit Bosque dos Jequitibas, don't miss this.

It is not a place that you would visit unless you are a biologist, or very interested in animals, but if you ever visit the Bosque dos Jequitibas, spend a while on this place.

You get both for the price of one, it's self guided, but interesting and worth the fee to check it out. Lots of interesting history of the animals and aquatic life (including snakes and reptiles) from the area. Fun history lesson.

For a town as big as Campinas you expect a better museum. The entrance fee is cheap but what you see inside is a reflection of it. Some animals, a few spider, scorpions etc but nothing you haven't seen in any other decent natural history museum. I say don't waste your time here and just keep enjoying the bosque.
