This place was a very nice surprise. I thought I wasn't going to be able to attend the mass on Sunday morning because my flight got delayed, however I was able to attend to one of the afternoon cults. So different how monks celebrate these...More

Visited the monastery on a Sunday morning, and was a bit let down with all of the garbage and people passed out in the park surrounding it. We had to step over 3-4 separate pools of vomit walking up to the monastery (must have been...More

If you like history is a good place to go. Represents the beginings of São Paulo City. I couldn't know the museum inside the old building but the restaurant - a good example of architectural retrofit - justify your visit.

This monastery is a piece of art where you rarely find something like this in this busy area. The floor, the ceiling, the walls, the altar and the domes keep calling visitors to have a second and third and tenth look at their beautiful art....More

The church is incredible beautifull right in the City old Center. The monks prepare bread and panetone soooooo delicius ! They also sing gregorian songs at the religious service, this is such a peaceful and must visit place in sao Paulo

Sunday masses here are very popular. The Sermon is particularly good, given by very intelligent priests.

A very impressive church, downtown. Check the time of the Sunday Mass to hear the monks choir! Great! After it, stay in line to buy the breads and cakes they sell: expensive but excellent.

To truly know São Paulo, you have to start at the old
centre, full of history and landmarks with stories to
tell. Get a taste of local food at the Municipal
Market, and if you are brave enough, head to the
crowded shopping street “25 de março” for cheap deals
on a wide assortment of items. Beautiful buildings in
this area include the Post Office Building, Luz
Station, Pagé Gallery, Pateo do Colegio and the iconic
