One of the most exotic and beautiful beaches in Ubatuba. It is a beach surrounded by the sea and the river, with green mountains at the bottom. Hardly gets full. The beach has a great shade of very different trees. I always take a resting net there. It is great to spend the day, but you need to take whatever you want to consume, there are no kiosks on the beach, but for those who love a beautiful, empty and different beach, it is a small price that is paid. The river and the beach are super clean. If you have a stand up paddle, you can take to stroll in the river which is super quiet. The beach usually has waves and flow, so be careful. I love this beach too much

To get to the beach you have to access the dirty Road from the Rio-Santos highway (this is after Itamanbuca on the way to Paraty, from Ubatuba).
This dirty Road is very pleasant as it goes through rainforest, at the very end of it there's a parking area and then the river.
You will have to cross the river, if it's low tide, it is very easy, otherwise try to hire a canoe. On the other side of the river is this long, clean and empty beach, there are many trees that offer good shade. I recommend the last half of the beach, because the waves and the ocean seems calmer.

This beach is really beautiful, it's hard to get there if you don't have your own transport but it's worthwhile!!! it has a river, that you have to cross by foot or by boat, before reaching the actual beach!!! the place where the sea meets the river is just amazing.

I've been on this beach for more than 20 years, but unfortunately it's not like before, with polite and quiet people.
The beach was a quiet, now even soundbox take and many, but many dogs crawling around the beach. The human being is amazing just getting more known and manages to spoil.

This is a calm fisherman village with a strong waves beach and a calm river. A beautiful place to stay all day but with no bars around; bring your food and friends. The unique problem is the mosquitoes; many of them and thats why I love this place.... no humans there...

not the easy beach to get to - some dude has to row you across a lake to get to the beach. but when there you are rewarded with a long stretch of beach that was not too busy - we went off season and there was just us and one other group...the beach had some cool sand bank islands that my 4 year old loved.

I parked the car in front of the entrance to the river.
The river crossing to the beach was done with water on the knee, very quiet.
The beach and river are beautiful.
Extensive beach.
I recommend
