To get to the beach you have to access the dirty Road from the Rio-Santos highway (this is after Itamanbuca on the way to Paraty, from Ubatuba). This dirty Road is very pleasant as it goes through rainforest, at the very end of it there's a parking area and then the river. You will have to cross the river, if it's low tide, it is very easy, otherwise try to hire a canoe. On the other side of the river is this long, clean and empty beach, there are many trees that offer good shade. I recommend the last half of the beach, because the waves and the ocean seems calmer.

This beach is really beautiful, it's hard to get there if you don't have your own transport but it's worthwhile!!! it has a river, that you have to cross by foot or by boat, before reaching the actual beach!!! the place where the sea meets the river is just amazing.
