It was very nice the small "island" that is temporary, depends on the height of the water.
Goré is a tiny crab that are all over the island, there are millions around.
AS the island is small it gets very crowdy, this is the bad part.
But the sea is very calm, like a swimming pool. Great place to relax!

This small island appears when the tide goes down. You can enjoy the mangrove,to swim in the river, to have good suntan with good 'caipirinha' and 'crabs'.

Be careful with the sun cause it's very strong.

We found a small boat hire company called marina prado and a nice guy took us for a private boat hire along the river stopping for photos and a paddle before taking us over too the sand bank where there is a boat restaurant and jet ski hire ! We had a small salad with chicken and a jug of fresh juice it was very good and not expensive ,the boat hire could have lasted about 5 hours but due to a rain shower we decided too leave early we highly recommend this , the length of stay is in your control

Croa do Goré is a special place ... between the river's exit and the sea, white sand dunes, hot water, a refreshing wind and a spectacular view. The boat that takes us to the place is very well equipped, with all the necessary safety, including for the children. We can drink a beer or a fruit juice, eat fish and enjoy the place to relax and enjoy this paradise. I highly recommend this tour!

You will not regret going there. Access is easy and not expensive. Very relaxing place near Aracaju where you can sunbathe, drink and eat local food.

Do not miss this opportunity. Loved the remote location and how the water creeps in. Take some drinks with you as there is only one, overpriced place.

It is a beautiful boat ride to arrive at the Croa do Goré from the Praia do Por do Sol. We've paid R$ 30,00 for the ride.

It is pretty much a sandbank with tables and chairs. It is a beautiful view, the mange, the trees, the river... it pretty much looks like paradise.

There is a boat that serves food and drinks. We have asked for caipirinhas, sea food, beer and manioc. There are not many options, but the food is good. In the end we paid only R$ 50,00 each. What is super cheap for the beach.

One must arrive there early, because before 3pm the water raises and there is no place left to stay. It is really impressive to see the beach disappearing under the water.

Beautiful landscapes and a mix of scenarios, from mangroves to sandy beaches, estuarine channels and the sea.
Croa do Gore itself is a sandy bank, most of it is exposed during the low tide.
Many shellfish, crabs and birds are easily observed.
Attention to the lack of structure: it is a natural environment inside the Vaza Barris river estuary. A floating restaurant will be around if a number of tourist visits the place

We arrived very early, before the restaurant boat and it was amazing... little by little the tide went down and the "island" became larger and larger and really beautiful. Avoid weekends. It is too crowded and loses its beauty! Also, go early in the morning, so u can stay until 2pm when the tide is high again. The snacks were ordered were OK. I bought some cookies from a boy whose mother makes them that were AMAZING! The cheese crackers were great! We didn't take the big boat. We decided to take the small taxi boat, so we could stay there as long as we wanted.

The experience is nice, even though nothing incredible. It is a small island of sand, which disappears whith the rising tide. You can either go by boat directly to the island and the floating bar, or make à tour on a catamaran, stop on the island, and then go back through another way. Prices for the transportation are not too expensive, expect 25-50 reais depending on the option chosen. No drinks nor food included, but prices are fair, similar to popular beach bars.
