This one is likely to be on your Bago itinerary and it is well worth visiting it. I guess at some point any person reaches a reclining Buddha saturation point but this one stands out for its size as well as how carefully carved/constructed it...More

Visited as part of a moto-taxi tour of Bago region. One of the biggest reclining Buddhas I have seen, definitely worth a visit!

It was hot when we were there, so couldn't walk close to this Buddha. But from a far, it is massively amazing. Worth the Bago trip. Do it from Yangon, closest to it.

This is outdoors and there are no structures to impede a good long shot photo of it! One of many places to visit in Bago, great town.

These Buddha replicas are just so impressive. This one sits outside, exposed to the elements, and will surely suffer in time.

This BIG statue is not aesthetially interesting or beautiful. It's actually rather ugly and poorly done. Most people think its not as old as claimed. You will know why if you go (but it's not worth going out of your way to visit)
