Samaki is close now, no more show or anything...Better to go to Lotus Bar, or to Woodhouse restaurant to see some painting...

Sammaki does great work with community artists and has classes all the time for children throughout Battambang province. For some of the artists, this is the first time they have ever sold a piece of their art. The manager, Pheary Heak, is a great artist and a great teacher. She speaks enough English to help you appreciate the art. If... More

I wandered past the gallery outside of opening hours but was invited in regardless. There is such talent in this city! Many beautiful and interesting portrayals of local life. A must see!

A nice place to visit on the famous street 2.5. Take your time and if you don't buy art, find a way to support them... Drinks and gifts available,.

Artists breathe life into art and create community. If you want to discover contempory Cambodian art this is a perfect place to start. A community run art centre - alive.

Mix of okay contemporary art from local and overseas artists. Needs some more thought put into curation and perhaps more explanation from the gallery.

If you appreciate art then visit, see and experience for your self! Cambodia has beautiful artistic work to offer, wonderful vibrant artists despite the long impending doom and gloom that the Country has been emerging from.
