Wonderful contrasts between harsh desert hills and vines covering the valley floor and now creeping up the hill sides. No idea how they do it!

We took a tour through this area of fruit farms, wineries, Pisco distilleries and heard the history of the area from the guide.It is well worth a visit.

Definitly recommended to visit a small pueblo in this nice valley. Pisco Elqui seems to be the highlight and be quiet. But check in advance, can get crowded for summer season. But in April it was perfect and it felt of the beaten track. Easy...More
