An amazing tour done in a very professional way! We decided to book it last moment and it was worth every penny! The couple to whom the area belongs is extremely knowledgeable and they have guided the whole group in the best way possible! A must do if your here in the area!

This is a very interesting and well arranged tour. Usually the group is maximum 20 persons which is just ok. The first part of the tour there is a lot of explanation about the universe, planets and they also point out the zodiac signs (just for fun). Some of the guides apparently sometimes "off-topic" but ours (a Canadian guy) made... More

This was a great tour that mixed a lot of astronomy with entertainment and ended with great cup of hot chocolate. So this is really a tour for everyone no matter how less you know about the stars. We picked the tour bus from pre-specified location at midnight and were driven into a place with multiple telescopes already setup. The... More

I loved the tour. The scenery with the dark mountains, the telescopes and the endless Atacama sky was simply perfect. The Canadian guide did a great job explaining the basics of astronomy and showing the most important objects in the night sky. On the other hand he was also able to answer more detailed astronomy questions if you were interested.... More

The astronom, a Canadian guy, used the first 45 min. telling lame jokes about Trump, people who don't like hot chocolate, and other non-astronomy related jokes, which we found disappointing. The part where you looked into the telescopes was interesting, but to short, and the Q&A for the astronom, was basicially 4 questions. We expected more in-depth information about the objects... Our Canadian guide was friendly, funny and provided valuable and unique information. The telescopes were awesome and even with a moderate size group we found plenty of time to enjoy the planets, dying stars, supernovas and more. Wear your warmer clothes as everything's at night and you're not too-active, but they also have nice big warm blankets and a tasty... More

Stargazing takes place just outside San Pedro. First the astronomer (he was incredible, very knowledgeable, funny and super nice) gave us a lecture about the space and then we could use different telescopes. We could even take a picture of the moon through one of them. At the end we went inside and had a cup of hot chocolate and... More

Since we went to Atacama in the low season we thought it would not be a problem to book a stargazing tour. We read really good reviews for this company's tours and were shocked they told us they are already booked one week in advance. The problem is (and we did not know it beforehand) that they do not do... More

A fantastic stargazing tour that takes place at an astronomy site close to the town and one of the best things I did during my stay in San Pedro de Atamaca. The tour lasts for 2.5 - 3 hours and starts with guests being collected from a pick-up point in town. Upon arriving at SPACE, we were offered blankets to... More

The Atacama's sky is absolutely incredible, but this tour shows you even more! It's quick (1,5h) and a little bit expensive (30usd), but totally worth it. You will get some explanation about stars and the many constellations, how to use the sky for orientation, telescopic views and a hot chocolate - which is really nice, considering the desert cold nights!...
