The nature is wonderful, it is difficult to explain, you have to see! What was surprising that we were alone, which is quite rare in the San Pedro surroundings and for me it was very appreciable. The vantage point of this hike is at the top of the plateau which allows you to see the entire San Pedro de Atacama in the distance. Climbing to the top from the bottom was a lot more exhausting than I expected, but it was well worth it. It's truly a Martian type landscape and I was in awe. As much fun as I had climbing up, getting down was a lot more fun!

We had already visited the Valle de la Luna and Valle de La Muerte, so this trail was not so interesting - a little more of the same. Chjildren had fun in the way down the dune.
