We toured one winery in Maipo (Santa Rita premium tour, which was a good experience) and four while staying in Colchagua. Neyen was hands down the best. The hostess (Loretta) walked us through the vineyards, explaining how and why each varietal was cultivated. How they manage lack of rain and harsh sun. Why the soil matters so much, and the... More

Eucalyptus trees over 100 years old and vines planted in 1890 greet you as you drive up to the building that was also built in the late 1800's. Staff here are so passionate and knowledgeable that it makes your visit truly an experience. Though there are only 2 wines to taste, this is a DO NOT MISS part of the... More

We ended up here after driving around unable to find somewhere for a mid-evening drink. Although we arrived mid tour, the gentleman in charge sat us on their lovely terrace and popped by giving us delicious wines to try and a. Tied explanation. The scenery was great and the wines exceptional-very different from those we tried elsewhere. Would recommend.

This was a truly beautiful vineyard where the word boutique is matched by the customer experience. Food is also true to what a specialized winery should be offering with only products from the area. Well done Neyen!

Wife and I visited Neyen on the recommendation of Connie and Francisco of Colchagua Tours. (By the way they are the BEST). The winery features some of the oldest vines in all of Colchagua. They only make one (recently expanded to two) wine. Amazing is the only word I know to describe. The winery itself is small and old/historic but... More

This was probably the best wine we had in the valley and the people there were very friendly and helpful.

My group visited Neyen Winery in the Colchagua Valley in July. We had an awesome Vertical tour given by Roxana. Setting up the tour and tasting was easy on the website. They have several tours to choose from. I received confirmation of my request the same day. When we arrived to the beautiful vineyard we were greeted outside by Roxana.... More

This is a great Vineyard. We were first walked through the vines which are all original French stock and phylloxera free (pretty amazing). We then got the chance to try pruning under the watchful eye of one of the pruners. That was interesting. The wines we tried were very nice and the only ones we purchased on the whole trip... More

Well run modern facility for wine making, with some very old vines. Since these vines do not need to be grafted (Chile has original roots!) you can see vines that are ~150 years old here. To start a new plant they can just use a runner from an existing plant into the ground to form a new plant (not like... More

Located just a short drive from Lapostolle in the Apalta Valley these two combine well in a single day. Neyen is located in a centuries-old building that is really historic and beautiful. In more recent years, Quintessa has become a major investor in Neyen. They sustained a large amount of damage in the 2010 earthquake and lost much of their... More
