Visited several wineries. Very organized. Really liked Vina Montes. Food and wine provided. Not cheap, but really worth the price.

We did the full day tour, but we drove ourselves, which cut the price by around 40%. Visited Montes, LaPostolle and Viu Manent. The first two are wonderful, cutting edge modern buildings and techniques, and the latter is old-style. Three-course lunch on the patio at Casa Colchagua was excellent! Nice to have the folks at Ruta de Vino Valle set... More

Forget the Maipo Valley and head south. The wines are of very good quality and the wineries are fun to visit.

We had a great tour with Ruta del Vino! The wineries we went to were great, the guide was awesome, and we were all by ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

We took a full day program from Santiago and it was a memorable experience! The scenery during the trip to Colchagua is breathtaking, and after visiting the first vineyard (wine tasting included) we enjoyed a superb meal in a beautiful restaurant. Then we were transported to a second vineyard and had the opportunity to experience carriage ride, before having another... More

A fabulous showcase of land and process amongst the mountains. The guided tour was well put together and the mix of modern process and historical legacy was enchanting. Even amongst a cloud driven backdrop this location both impressed and inspired. A visit to the heights via a cable car gave a full impression of the legacy continued and a vision... More

First of all - there's free transportation to Viu Monnet and Lapostolle from Santa Cruz hotel. You need to book in advance at the agency inside the hotel, one day ahead was enough (in April). We spent 2 days in Santa Cruz and wanted to visit 3 wineries (and save some money) so this is what we've done- First day... More

We were picked up promptly at hotel in Santiago to spend the day visiting two wineries on the "Every day Colchagua Icon" tour. Unfortunately our driver/guide was clearly lacking experience in getting out of Santiago and afraid to drive on the motorway. While the two winery tours (Monte and Lapostolle) were great, the tendancy for Miguel (?) to get lost... More

We caught the train to the Colchagua Valley from Estacion Central in Santiago and were really looking forward to the tour. Unfortunately, this company doesn't seem to care much about customer satisfaction, because it was nearly impossible to relax and enjoy the ride with a bunch of children running around, kicking your seat, and screaming during what was supposed to... Regarding the "Inside Colchagua Icon" full day tour, this company is merely the "middle man." They take your money and simply schedule your transportation and call the three vineyards to say your are coming. That is it. My point, do it yourself and save money. The three vineyards you need to visit, and are what they schedule you for on... More
