The show in chinese name is 印象刘三姐. It is a very nice show. Dancing and singing, showing to us the culture of Gam people (侗族) and their daily life.
We bought the tickets from our guesthouse, not the VIP area but the seat and the...More
The location is nice, the show itself also not bad. However cannot recommend it to western people:
1. We pay double price as Chinese
2. Very bad organised
3. During the show the locals are so loud, smoke etc.
Its a pitty.
Firstly, this is NOT the outdoor performance with a cast of 600 directed by the famous 2008 China Olympics opening ceremony, Zhang Yi-mou. This is an ordinary performance at an indoor theater the consists of primarily acrobatic feats and a little dancing. And ordinary it...More

The place was very crowded and the show is nothing to rave about. Seeing the location and settings, I was expecting something better than the Macau dancing water show or the water shows in many other tourist cities in China. Traffic in and out was...More
We have attended the show with three small children. The story seems to change looking at some earlier reviews. We definitely enjoyed this year's show, although none of us really understood the story. But this big natural scene is truly amazing and you see hundreds...More
I adored this show, it was something very special, even though I went along half-heartedly expecting another tourist trap. All of the other Western tourists I met adored it too although I heard some Chinese tourists find it boring. It was really one of the...More
