Nice place, but you usually visit this temple at the end of your roadtrip to Chengde so the fifth or sixth one is not the one with the highest emotions. But woth to see.

The temple is peaceful and serene, the big wooden Budda is a magnificent sight! To see how it was hand carved from one single tree over 300 years ago.I suggest this sight to see this magnificent structure.

Having seen numerous Buddhas around south east Asia this one was outstanding in its size. The temple complex was probably one of the more interesting ones we visited during our trip through China.

This was one of the two highlights for me in our 10 day trip to China - the other one being the Terra Cotta Warriors. While this is not as dramatic, it stood out among the attractions given the charm and uniqueness of a Tibetan...More

Once you visit a bunch of temples in China it kinda feels the same. This temple - thanks to the huge wooden statue, feels more special...And from the outside it also looks quite interesting. The whole area is quite large. There is one shopping street...More

A Tibetan buddhist temple, it is extremely beautiful. A flight of 46 stairs takes you to the main temple complex. Must visit in Chengde
