There were no tours when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. There are papers with information you can read, but some of the dates contradicted each other. I would love a tour from someone with a real knowledge of the property.

I've been to Arlington more than once and have enjoyed every visit! I've held a luncheon there, taken groups of children and visited during their Christmas season. This is something you truly need to see. I'm a real lover of Southern history and this is...More

We stopped by here on our way out of town and loved it. Both ladies working were wonderful and knowledgeable about the history of both the house and the area. Such a beautiful property with a colorful history. Definitely recommend it.

This home was okay to visit. The woman who worked there was very helpful and friendly. If you've seen everything else in Birmingham and you have some time stop in.

If you enjoy historical home tours this is a nice one. Sorry to say it is located in a sketchy part of town, but once you get there you feel totally safe. You can even eat lunch there in the summer months on Fridays.

Not much here to see. No gardens here, either. Admission was $5, which is $4.99 too much. The only interesting thing was the detached men's room, which was hot as a sauna, with wood paneling to match.

An hour well spent viewing this only Antebellum home left standing in Birmingham. Our Docent was very knowledgeable. For those attempting to find the home it is on Cotton Street. You must enter thru the Birmingham Museum.

Stopped here to break up a long drive north and could not have been more pleased with the beautiful home and its gorgeous gardens. Take a self-guided tour through the house and step back in time to the 1800s. The home is beautifully furnished, and...More

Hi! As far as I can tell, Arlington is not FULLY handicapped accessible, as there is an upstairs. There may be a hidden elevator that I don't know about, but the house was built well before elevators, so there may not be... More
