Correct title should be "Confucius Parents burial/memorial site" as this site is not a separate "cemetery", but located in the Kong Family Cemetery (or forrest) - but not i the same place as the memorials/burial place of Confusius, his son and grandson. Only worth visiting...More

We visited Qufu this past June and saw Confucius Family Cemetery and Confucius Temple but were too late to visit his mansion. We were in awe of the cemetery, what a beautiful, peaceful place! It was maintained like a park with many people strolling around....More

First off, make sure to take the electric cart to Confucius' gravesite, as the cemetery if fairly large. The green peaceful forest, checkered with mounds, statues, and monuments are a welcome change of pace if you've spent too long in urban China. I will admit...More

Honestly, iy was a way out of town (take an electric cart) but only go there if you really have to kill. Head straight for Confucius' tomb - not that there's much to see there - & don't bother wandering round the rest of the...More
