Many pools were dried up and only a few were filled. It wasn't worth the massive price i feel when u compare it to jiuzhaigou. Go during the right time and it'll be amazing i guess.

Ok, it is not a 1 star attraction since it is beautiful and if you put it somewhere else it will be a 4/5 stars attraction. I gave 1 star because so many people give it a good review and I want to tell you...More

Personally I did not find the ponds nor flow of water impressive. For the entrance and cable car amount paid, and the effort of of the walk at high altitude (3,200m-almost 3,600m), the scenery and beauty of Huanglong does not reward. We were there by...More

You can rent private cars, which can give you more leisure with your times, because if you take the public buses, you are timebound, which means you will be rushed. If you are not a hiker like me, this is not the best... More

Unless you have known problem for altitude you should not worry. The cost of O2 can varies from RMB60 to 120. Also they have Oxigen bars at few places in Huanglong, cost of which is also not very high.
