The chair lift from start to finish is about a 20 minute ride up the hill. Nice and peaceful with birds and the odd wind gust wind. You passed over grave sites in amongst the trees. Once at the top, we walked to the right...More

If you had too much with the ancient city, heads out to the mountain (there's cable cars) for different view of the town.

The ride to the island is long, but the walk around the island and observing the islanders was cool.

We can enjoy the landscape which clouds bring and go back and forth. I'll recommend to take it for about 2 hours by sightseeing boat.

There are two different cable cars to mid-level (3000 meters) or the higher one 3900 meters. I've tried two this year and last year. Both worth going. Nice view

Take the day and hike up the mountain from inside a cave. Very different. Amazing views of Erhai lake from the top. When you go down, try the local teas. Buy a Rmb70 ticket for a great 3 tour experience.
