Really nice hike with good view. We thought the trail was a bit steep and we are a couple in regular (+) good shape. We would recommend to bring a lot of water if its sunny, because it may take you longer than you think.

During a recent trip to Makarska I climbed to the Vosac peak (1,421m high) with my daughter and her husband and had a wonderful day. We started of on Put Makra Street and walked to the Chapel at the end of the road, which is...More

I have tried a trail from Topici towards sveti llija and I have not been disappointed. The trail is well marked but very wild (not so prepared as you can find in Poland, in Tatra mountains). Very demanding because of the attitude as well of...More

The view from the beach in Makarska it's breathtaking. The water it's like the smarald and the montain right beside. The only thing that may bother you is the beach of pebbles. But some special shoes everything it's ok. In term of handling the accommodation...More

Interesting drive to say the least. Around 1 hour to drive 23Km, due to the narrow (and mostly precarious) road. My wife was scared, despite my experience behind the wheel, so it might not be for everyone. We experienced breathtaking views, stunning scenery & interesting...More

Biokovo mountain road, leaving from Podgora towards Vrgorac, offers some stunning views - there are several viewpoints from where one can get beautiful pictures

Great scenery. Highly recommended break from the hot beaches. Drive slowly in the winding, single track roads. Make sure you top up your gasoline tank before entering the park. Cold water is for sale at ranger stations. Arriving from Podgora, my mobile navigator app diverted...More
