This lake is so clam and serene. We enjoyed the peaceful flow of water and ducks on the lake. We went in October the colors were starting to change. It was beautiful.

At Galovac Lake you will find the most waterfalls and the most difficult to walk. I recommend that you start visiting them from Entrance 1 to enjoy this landscape when you get close to the end of the trip. It is not the busiest area so you can visit calmly, rest or take some absolutely beautiful pictures.

Part of the Upper lakes section - entrance no 2. Take a boat across and it is on the shortest suggested path aprox 3 hours (6 km) walk. It is one among the larger lakes. It has lovely surroundings. The entire east side of the lake, with the length of about 200 meters is dotted by several waterfalls – called Prštavci (Veliki Prštavac and Mali Prštavac) falling down to the lake from the 20 meters high travertine barrier. The waters around here are of deep, dark green colours due to its surroundings and depth of the water. The area around the lake has numerous paths and walkways as well as small, visitors train/bus line.

Less crowded than other parts of the walk. Many waterfalls. Even places here to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy the views.

Beautiful but a little expensive (€40 a ticket) and you have to walk! Experience to do: wonderful lakes and waterfalls also free boat on a lake and free bus from the first to the second exit
