Trogir is a maze of pretty pedestrianised streets surrounded by water. There are lots of places to stop for food and drinks. However, I was appalled to see raw sewage being pumped into the sea! Unbelievable!

Spotlessly clean, beautiful architecture and gorgeous waterfront. Yet another stunning place in Croatia. There is little more to say here, definitely worth the short trip from Split for a few hours.

Very easy to reach by bus and with the day, lovely city! It's very small, so you can take your time wandering around.

Very busy but nice and well worth a day trip. However the place is very much a tourist trap. Seems a bit pricey in the resreraunts and bars.

We visited here on the basis of our guide book in the knowledge that it was now a UNESCO World Heritage site. And it was well worth the 30 min drive from Split. Lovely old town full of Venetian architecture, now buzzing with shops, bars...More

I am afraid not. Not unless you charter your own boat. But ferrys, small boats going from Trogir to Split if you don't want to go by taxi. ( taxi is low cost). Never the less, you have to go from Split if heading for Hvar... More

if you turn left before you go over the bridge, there's usually good street parking, right by the castle. follow the sign for the castle and you'll find it. I can't remember the price, but it isn't much.
