Nowadays is just a small entrance to the old town in Trogir with modern constructions besides it, with a time perspective it becomes more attractive.

This is the entrance to the town, which one walks through on arrival. Carved from stone, it leads directly to the main square.

Great stone gateway into the old city right when you get of Trogir-mainland bridge. Beautiful architecture and great historical site.

If you enjoy architectural beauty, you'll enjoy visiting here. There is much that pops out as you walk around Trogir.

Everywhere you walk one can find building that have been standing for thousands of years and using a bit of imagination you can transport yourself back to Roman times.

The whole fo Zadar represents an architectural jewel - and this gate is just another gem in this necklace.

Climb the North gate of Trogir, look around and take some photos. Then, choose among several craft stands of handmade souvenirs.

Yes yes the north gate. It´s a beautiful gate, maybe a little narrow gate, but it´s a nice gate. At the night too.

Would recommend going through the gate to the few craft stalls. They sell some lovely handmade gifts which my family enjoyed. The setting is also nice and makes for some good pictures when it is not busy.

Nice old gate which gives a taste of the old town prior to entering. Charming stonework and shape. Not much to see but charming.

Thank Sarah D
