The best place for swimming at sun set is in the middle of the lagoon. And fantastic wild life around the borders, with pirayas, kaymans, birds, snakes and everything you can wish for.

Gorgeous setting. We were there during the rainy season so the lake was full. Wildlife all over. The sunset and the night sky was amazing.

Lovely lake which we visited whilst stopping at Jamu lodge. Definitely worth a visit but you can only get there by canoe. No roads or any other means.

Loved this lagoon! Lots of animals and wildlife around, including river dolphins, bird species, monkeys, and caimans! Very cool that mosquitos cannot breed in this lagoon so we weren't too concerned about re-applying the bug spray
