Small Group Guayaquil and Cocoa Farm Full-Day Tour

56 reviews
Tour a cacao plantation before exploring some of Guayaquil’s city center highlights, like Las Peñas neighborhood and the Malecon 200, for a comprehensive day of Ecuadorian chocolate and culture. Ideal for travelers looking to make the most of their time in the region, this tour lets you privately explore a city that many travelers overlook without having to wait on large tour groups.

Pickpockets stole my kindle here. I could eventually get it back on my own. However, none of the locals around us (families with children) tried anything to help me, even though I yelled quite loud. This sight is in a criminal area painted in nice colours! Watch your stuff!

To get here you have to walk up 400 steps and no they are not easy. However the walk has several bars, gift shops and eateries along the walk. The Cathedral is free and it is a visual masterpiece inside.

This is definitely a great place to see, but it is a hike up the steps. You can buy drinks along the way up, but good to have water with you.
