Ecuador’s largest city can be overwhelming for first-time visitors and this 3-hour tour of Guayaquil is the ideal way to get your bearings. Visit sights such as Malecón 2000, La Rotonda, and Seminario Park; explore the colonial district of Las Peñas, and take in the views from Santa Ana Fort. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included.

My wife and I truly thought this was the prettiest church in Guayaquil. The outside is beautiful, but the inside is just absolutely stunning! We really loved the ceiling, as it was simple, but gorgeous!

This beautiful Catholic church located on Calle Chimborazo across from the famous Seminario (Iguana) Park is a rebuild (between 1924 and 1937) after the original church, made of wood, burned down in 1892. The rebuild, in neo gothic style, was carried out by Italian artisans using local marble. The incredible marble flooring was somewhat empty of seating (being cleaned) the day I visited so to see it in all its glory was spectacular. Then there are the many beautiful stained glass windows. There during the afternoon, there were people coming and going to pray in the small side chapels.

Facing the park with the iguanas and very nice stained glass. A surprisingly nice place with clean lines.

We visited since it was close by, but, this is not an impressive church in any sense of the word. Rather plain on the interior, the stained glass windows are nice, but not much else. Do walk through when passing by, but don’t make a special trip - not worth it.
