The condor park in Otavalo showcases a number of unique and incredibly rare birds. Tow of the most interesting being the Harpy Eagle and the Andean Condor. The flight presentation is in Spanish but it certainly doesn't take away from the sight of watching a number of the birds of prey take to the skies. The most impressive during our... More

The raptor show was pretty cool with the birds flying overhead. The narration is in Spanish (in case you made it this far in Ecuador without knowing the language). It is mostly geared to children, but birds of prey are awesome to see close up no matter what age you are! There is a Harpy Eagle, birds of prey common... More

Stunning, the park is nestled in the Andes. Condors in rehabilitation are visited daily by wild condors who show off their beautiful plumage and strut their stuff for the wild female. The gentleman who was manning the post was knowledgeable and articulate, able to answer questions in French, English and Spanish. He was also so handsome he could be a... More

The park has a variety of condors, owls and other birds of the region in large enclosed cages fitting to their environment, but the best is to experience the Condor flights which si scheduled twice a day, so plan your time of arrival accordingly.

During our stay in the Otavalo area we visited Condor Park for a couple of nice hours in the afternoon. It is on top of a hill outside of Otavalo with a great 360 degrees view of the valley and the volcanoes in the neighborhood. The park itself is home to lots of South American raptors and birds from farther... More

We expected a cheesy display but were surprised and impressed by the park's quality. It's like a small zoo, containing birds of prey (eagles, raptors, owls, and of course condors). The highlight is the "show" in which a half dozen birds are brought out (one at s time) and set loose to fly. A second highlight is the wonderful location... More

An amazing collection of large birds - education birds that can't be released due to injuries. Facility is humane, and the public arena presentation is outstanding, compelling for the whole family, not to be missed! Bring sunscreen and bug repellant. Don't bother to pay the double fare to have your taxi stay, they cycle through. The trail to the Peguche... More

Very nice scene, looking to how Condors live, fly away and come back, very nice scenes, young and little kids will love this experience.

This is a great place to visit and observe condors and other birds up close, and the show they put on with the birds is definitely exciting and a must see when in the area. We really enjoyed the walk through the park and the show.

This is a well kept sanctuary. Seeing the birds was nice but the view is actually breathtakingly stunning. Unfortunately we were unprepared for how windy/chilly it was and so we departed the show a little early.
