Amazing nature reserve in a very remote location of Guatemala. It's a tough trek to get there (7-8 hrs from Antigua or Guatemala City) but the caves, river, pools, and hikes are all spectacular. Highly recommend staying in the park and not in Lanquin due...More

Great trip. Wear sneakers or hiking sandals. Rocky and slick entry points. Should be a good swimmer as it does get deep. Must see the white water at the top of the pools. Be careful walking slick and unforgiving all around the pools. A quick...More

The whole experience was amazing! Being out in the back country of Guatemala and seeing the beauty was amazing. The ride there was an experience in and of it's self. Riding in a small bus and then transferring into the back of a pickup for...More
