This is supposed to be one of the landmark dives on Roatan, but as far as wreck dives go, was pretty mediocre. It's pretty much personal preference, but IMHO, there are garden eels here and super huge groupers, and that was it. There are much prettier sites to see on Roatan as a diver. BTW, there is another wreck we... More

After a quick deep dive on the wreck, you get to visit the large groupers in the shallows by the mooring. I was the first diver in the water, so they all swam up to me, expecting to be fed; luckily they were not aggressive. So I knew what was waiting after the wreck experience. Vis was not great on... Excellent and not to be missed. Each time we visit AKR we dive the wreck and it's great each time! AKR has top of the line boats, equipment and employees that take care of you on and off the boat. The Resort is truly 5 Star.

We just hung around the wreck without penetrating it, as the tour led did. We found several species that had made it their home.

The groupers were large and the eel was very eager to show you he lived on the wreck. No complaints about it.

Our first wreck dive, it was a little intimidating going this deep. However, the dive was unbelievable and the reef incredible. So many fish and wildlife - I highly recommend this dive! The only downside is that everyone seems to dive this site - there were a lot of people, a lot of boats and a lot of divers underwater.

At 110 feet it is a great wreck dive especially for new divers. The wreck was torn into 3 parts by Hurricane Mitch in 2005 and makes for great easy swim throughs. There is a resident Moray Eel that hangs out there and got to pet it. After exploring the wreck there is a great wall that gradually goes up... More

Outstanding deep dive. Great swim throughs. A school of eight or so giant Grouper followed us on the second half of the dive.
