less crowded beach so this will be better option for swim and relax. Good place for sun bath. People come in large numbers during weekends

It's a commen type each & once of the beach among enormous huge list of beaches in Goa. Beautiful place to hangout with friends & family. Enjoyable

Too much dirt and tourists. Water sports is dangerous (a friend fell of from one of the boats and no one to save him).

Calm and peaceful . . Less crowd. . Mostly Russians are there. . The raid goes through a beautiful village. Lovely drive as well

the white sand in the season looks amazing. also , the beach is super good for the people who are looking for some isolated beaches

If there is one pristine beach left in North Goa, this is the one. I went during pre monsoons so missed the shacks but am longing to go back in winter and experience the place.

I walked here from Arombol, expecting somewhere unspoiled. Since the review I read had been written, Ashwem had been 'discovered', filled with luxury accommodation, and prices equivalent to Europe...not what we travelled to Goa for.

I agree check out the Thomas Beach Guest House, good food can be found quite nearby.

As you know this is high season in GOA you should book online after doing some look out on internet. You can try La Cabana resort and spa it is located on Ashvem beach, just few steps from beach. They have nice huts and a... More

public bus will bring you to nearest town Mapusa from Mapusa either hire a taxi pretty expensive else walk 5 mins to local bus stand and take a bus from there to Ashvem beach.
