Must-visit place in South Goa.Parking is difficult, some renovation going on. Has the relic of St. Francis Xavier. Good architecture, big prayer room. Covered as part of South Goa sightseeing from Vasco.

This church have a the relic of St. Francis Xavier who visited India on 1542 ( Portuguese India ) . The Relic will be open to public once in every 10 years .

The well preserved body of St Francis Xavier is kept near the altar in a pedestal. Once in 10 years they lower it and it's a great celebration.
