The temple is dedicated to Shantadurga, the goddess who mediates between Vishnu and Shiva. It is located in Ponda. The temple is around 450 years old.

The Shantadurga Temple is a beautiful building, situated near Ponda... Allows even non Hindus to visit, it was nice to look around and see a different religion and learn a bit about it. A truely lovely temple and recommend everyone to visit this temple.

Shree shantadurga temple is near Panjim...It's a lord Shiva temple...u will get many shop outside the temple selling Pooja stuff and clothes

This is an ancient Temple built for Durga the Consort of Lord Shiva.This Temple is outside in the hinterlands of Goa & i was impressed while approaching this temple with its architectural beauty & clean surroundings.Inside also there is order & solemnity.Worth the visit.

must visit this temple. goa is not just beaches and beer. spend some time in the lap of god. very less crowd and very quick visit.

Goa is just not beaches. It has some spectacular temples too to woo a tourist. Mangueshi temple is a good example. Dedicated to Lord Manguesh, believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, this spectacular temple attracts a great number of tourists. The architectural beauty...More

Drive from Calangute is entertaining. One drives through lush green hills. Road is excellent. Place is nice and very clean.
